Education & Credentials

Victoria is currently a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec. Her research centers on cognitive and language development in infants and young children, with a particular focus on how multilingualism shapes cognitive skills. She holds a competitive graduate scholarship from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council and has shared her findings at both provincial and international conferences.

Training & Experiences

Victoria’s clinical training is grounded in pediatric psychology. She has worked with infants and young children at the Neonatal Follow-up Clinic at the Jewish General Hospital, as well as with children and pre-adolescents at Concordia University’s Applied Psychology Centre. Her experience includes conducting comprehensive developmental, learning disability, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) assessments. In her clinical roles, Victoria has also provided support based in cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), with a focus on emotion regulation and anxiety management.

Current Work

Victoria is currently completing her second external clinical practicum at Elevate Psychotherapy and Wellness Clinic, where she works with children, adolescents, and young adults facing a range of emotional and behavioural challenges. She strives to create a warm, understanding, and supportive environment that allows clients to openly express their feelings. Drawing on an eclectic range of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Victoria tailors her sessions to meet each client’s unique needs.
