Education & Credentials

Dr. Lisa Serravalle earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Concordia University, where her research focused on the role of the family environment in preventing psychopathology in children born to parents with mood disorders. During her academic training, her work was recognized through multiple awards and scholarships, and her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international conferences. To further her expertise in clinical assessment, Dr. Serravalle is currently completing an attestation in neuropsychology.

Training & Experiences

Dr. Serravalle has extensive experience conducting psychoeducational assessments, with specialized training in the evaluation and diagnosis of autism spectrum disorders across the lifespan. She completed her clinical residency at the Montréal Children’s Hospital, where she gained invaluable experience working with children, adolescents, and families across a range of inpatient and outpatient settings. In this context, she became well-versed in navigating the complexities associated with co-occurring medical conditions, including chronic pain and diabetes. Since graduation, Dr. Serravalle has worked primarily in private practice, with a focus on psychoeducational and neuropsychological assessments. Committed to culturally sensitive and inclusive care, she has collaborated with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, including Indigenous communities in Northern Québec, reflecting her dedication to equitable access to psychological services.

Current Work

At Elevate Psychotherapy and Wellness Clinic, Dr. Serravalle practises under the supervision of a licensed neuropsychologist, ensuring that her assessments and recommendations are grounded in the highest standards of clinical care. Within this supervised clinical framework, her current practice is focused on the provision of comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults presenting with difficulties related to attention, learning, memory, and social-emotional functioning. She has a particular interest in pediatric neuropsychology and is dedicated to helping children and their families better understand cognitive and learning profiles in order to support early intervention and optimal academic and developmental outcomes. She also specializes in the assessment of autism spectrum disorder across the lifespan, including the identification of more subtle and atypical presentations, particularly in females. In her work, she integrates current knowledge of brain–behaviour relationships to develop individualized, strengths-based recommendations that are practical, developmentally appropriate, and tailored to each person’s unique needs.
