Education & Credentials

Marie-Pierre Gosselin earned her Master’s degree in Psychology after beginning her career in the helping profession as a special care counselor in a rehabilitation centre’s day program. There, she worked with adults living with permanent physical challenges following accidents, strokes, and degenerative conditions who were learning to rebuild meaningful routines and explore new interests. Witnessing this resilience sparked her fascination with psychology and brain function and ultimately led her to pursue formal studies in the field.

Her interest in pediatric sleep consulting developed later, after becoming a mother to twins. Experiencing firsthand how profoundly sleep—or the lack of it—can affect family life sparked a deeper curiosity about children’s sleep and its role in development and emotional well-being. This led her to pursue certification as a Pediatric Sleep Consultant.

Training & Experiences

Marie-Pierre’s early career in rehabilitation built her expertise in human development, emotional regulation, and supportive daily routines. When she became a first-time mother of twins, her professional knowledge met real-world experience—turning a personal challenge into a core professional focus. Specializing in sleep consulting transformed her family’s routines so profoundly that she felt empowered to welcome a third child.

For nearly a decade, Marie-Pierre has supported hundreds of families in building healthy sleep habits for their children. Her approach blends evidence-based knowledge with practical strategies and genuine empathy for the realities of parenting through sleepless nights.

Current Work

Today, Marie-Pierre provides pediatric sleep consultation to families seeking to support their children’s sleep, development, and overall well-being. She approaches each family through both a psychological and developmental lens, tailoring guidance to their unique needs.

In addition to her clinical practice, she teaches college courses in psychology and child development, a role that continually informs and enriches her work. As a mother of three children, Marie-Pierre understands how essential quality sleep is—not only for children’s growth and emotional regulation, but also for parents’ well-being. Her mission is to help families feel more rested, balanced, and supported.
