Training & Experiences

Throughout her career, Carina has cultivated expertise as a Trauma-Informed Yoga Educator and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Facilitator. Her work focuses on empowering individuals—particularly youth—to develop tools for stress management, self-awareness, and emotional regulation. With a teaching philosophy grounded in mindfulness and compassion, she emphasizes the use of breath as a powerful vehicle for self-transformation and healing. Her holistic approach draws from both traditional yoga principles and evidence-based therapeutic practices.

Current Work

As a Clinical Care Coordinator at Elevate Psychotherapy and Wellness Clinic, Carina brings her trauma-informed lens and wellness background to client care. She is often the first point of contact for new clients, providing a warm, supportive presence as she helps individuals navigate their first steps toward therapy. Carina is committed to fostering connection, balance, and emotional well-being—values that guide both her clinical coordination work and her broader mission as a yoga educator.
