Dr. Anne Julien completed a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at Concordia University. Her work is grounded in extensive university and hospital-based training, with a strong focus on neuropsychological assessment and the integration of cognitive, emotional, and medical factors in adult functioning. Dr. Julien is a licensed Psychologist and Neuropsychologist with the Ordre des psychologues du Québec.

Training & Experiences

Dr. Julien trained in both clinical psychology and clinical neuropsychology, gaining experience across a range of university and hospital settings. Her clinical work has focused primarily on neuropsychological assessment with adult psychiatric populations and developmental assessment in adults, including attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and intellectual disability. She has also conducted evaluations for individuals with complex mental health conditions, neurological concerns, and serious medical illnesses. Through these experiences, she developed expertise in understanding the interaction between cognitive functioning, psychological wellbeing, and medical factors.
In addition to her assessment work, Dr. Julien trained extensively in evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions for adults experiencing mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related difficulties, and ADHD. Her therapeutic approach is integrative and client-centred, drawing on empirically supported treatment models tailored to each individual’s cognitive profile, psychological needs, and life context.

Current Work

Dr. Julien has been practicing at the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) since 2022, within the Neuropsychology Service and the Module for Evaluation and Liaison (MEL). In this capacity, she provides comprehensive neuropsychological assessments to outpatient and inpatient populations, focusing on the cognitive and emotional impact of neurological, psychiatric, and complex medical conditions, in close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. She also practices at Elevate Psychotherapy and Wellness Clinic, where she offers specialized expertise in adult ADHD.
