Training & Experiences
Eden has completed clinical training in psychotherapy at Concordia University, where she has worked with adults experiencing anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and a range of other mental health concerns. Her training in neuropsychological assessment has taken place at both Concordia University and the McGill University Health Centre, providing her with experience assessing adults presenting with a variety of cognitive, psychological, and medical concerns.
Her assessment experience includes attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), intellectual developmental disability, neurocognitive disorders, bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder, and cognitive difficulties associated with medical conditions. These experiences have contributed to a broad understanding of the ways in which psychological, cognitive, and medical factors can interact and affect an individual’s everyday functioning.
Current Work
Eden is currently completing her second external practicum at Elevate Psychotherapy and Wellness Clinic under the supervision of Dr. Jake Shenker, Clinical Psychologist. She provides psychotherapy to adults of all ages experiencing a range of mental health concerns and also conducts neuropsychological assessments for a variety of presenting concerns, including ADHD, specific learning disorders, and neurocognitive disorders.
In her psychotherapy practice, Eden draws from a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and works collaboratively with each client to tailor treatment to their individual needs and goals. She views psychotherapy as a collaborative process of identifying and addressing the obstacles that may be interfering with a person’s wellbeing, while building practical strategies to support meaningful change.
