Education & Credentials
Melika holds a Bachelor of Science in Honours Psychology from McGill University, where she gained extensive research experience in neuropsychology, cognition, and developmental psychology. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in neuropsychology at the University of Quebec at Montreal (UQAM).
Training & Experiences
Melika is deeply passionate about both mental and physical health, as well as their interconnection. Additionally, her role as a certified crisis responder for a youth hotline allowed her to develop strong skills in providing emotional support and managing crises. These experiences have further deepened her understanding of mental health challenges and reinforced the critical importance of delivering compassionate care.
Current Work
As a Clinical Care Coordinator, Melika is the first point of contact between clients and the Elevate team. She is dedicated to supporting individuals through challenging times with warmth, empathy, and kindness, while ensuring they are connected with the clinician who best meets their unique needs.
