Education & Credentials

Sara is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at McGill University, where she conducts CIHR-funded research on best practices for adapting psychotherapy for adults on the autism spectrum. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Honours Psychology from McGill University. Sara’s dedication to health service access and equity has been a driving force behind her academic and research pursuits to date.

Training & Experiences

Sara brings a broad range of experience from both clinical and community settings, supporting individuals with diverse needs. She has worked as an active listening support worker for at-risk populations, served as an accompaniment person for individuals with special needs, and provided support to members of the homeless community. These roles have strengthened her commitment to promoting mental health service access through an empathetic and compassionate approach.

Current Work

Sara currently serves as a Clinical Care Coordinator at Elevate, acting as the first point of contact between clients and the Elevate team. In this capacity, she is dedicated to supporting individuals with warmth and compassion as they navigate the process of accessing mental health services. Sara’s work continues to be guided by her passion for equitable, accessible, and person-centered care in mental health.
